When following this build plan, the end result should give you speakers that will have the following approximate specifications:

- Woofer: 3-1/2 inch Aluminum Cone driver from Dayton Audio
- Tweeter: 3/4 inch Soft Dome tweeter from Dayton Audio
Enclosure Description:
- 2-Way vented-box system
Frequency Response:
- -3dB at 68Hz and ±3dB from 800 to 20000Hz on reference axis
Sensitivity:
- Approximately 83dB

- 4 Ohm
Crossover Frequency:

A speaker this size will not be able to produce room shaking bass, but these Dayton Audio woofers will surprise you. It sounds like you are listening to a much bigger speaker. It was designed to be small and provide very good midrange quality, but still to produce a relatively powerful sound output. These speakers are best positioned at least 2 feet away from the rear and side walls.
